Nature's Nursery Barn is a charming and inviting family run day nursery. Blending the wonders of nature with the excitement of learning in a homely environment, we provide an unforgettable experience for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
We are situated 200 metres from the nearest road and are surrounded by mature trees and fields on an over 100-year-old farmyard. Natures Nursery Barn provides an attractive natural environment all within an easily accessible rural location.
We strive for excellence in everything we do and always aim to be the best we can be. The layout of our setting enables children to learn through play, exploring our indoor and outdoor environments. Children are at the heart of Natures Nursery Barn and our engaging and stimulating environment provides a range of enriched learning and development opportunities.
We know children are naturally inquisitive, however The Curiosity Approach ethos promotes curiosity, awe and wonder in early childhood. That is why, here at Natures Nursery Barn we adopt this approach and allow children the freedom to grow.
The curiosity approach is based on child-led learning. Therefore, children make their own choices, and figure things out for themselves which leads to enhanced confidence, critical thinking, and problem solving.

My name is Nina and I am owner manager here at Nature's Nursery Barn. I am a mum of four wonderful children, also a SEN mum. I have worked in childcare for 20 years. In my time in childcare I have met some absolutely amazing families and their little ones who I am still great friends with. I am level four qualified with a great amount of training and experience which I have gained over the years. I promote a home from home setting following the curiosity approach using lots of natural resources for children to use their imagination to create great learning experiences. We follow in the moment planning and look at children’s interests and enhance learning through play. I am looking forward to meeting all our new families to support the learning and development of their little ones in a warm and safe environment.
