My name is Nina and I am owner and manager here at Nature's Nursery Barn. I am a mum of four wonderful children, also a SEN mum. I have worked in childcare for 20 years. In my time in childcare I have met some absolutely amazing families and their little ones who I am still great friends with. I am Level 4 qualified with a great amount of training and experience which I have gained over the years. I promote a home from home setting following the curiosity approach using lots of natural resources for children to use their imagination to create great learning experiences. We follow in the moment planning and look at children’s interests and enhance learning through play. I am looking forward to meeting all our new families to support the learning and development of their little ones in a warm and safe environment.

I am the Deputy Manager and SENCO, and I have over nine years of experience working in nursery settings. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported to reach their full potential. I particularly enjoy working closely with children, families, and colleagues to ensure all children receive the care and opportunities they need to thrive.
Outside of work, I am a proud mum to my 15-month-old child and have been happily married for several years. Becoming a parent has further strengthened my understanding of the importance of early years education and the positive impact that caring, supportive relationships have on children's development. In my spare time, I enjoy making memories with my family and friends and embracing the adventures that come with parenthood.

As Director of the nursery, I am passionate about creating a nurturing, inspiring, and welcoming environment where children, families, and staff can thrive. I take great pride in supporting every aspect of nursery life and enjoy being hands-on with maintenance around the nursery and love designing and building resources that enhance children's learning. Using recycled materials and wood wherever possible, I create bespoke resources that are both sustainable and meaningful. Whether it's a new learning station, outdoor equipment, or a creative classroom resource requested by staff, I enjoy bringing ideas to life in practical and imaginative ways.
I believe that working collaboratively with the team and making the most of sustainable materials helps create a rich learning environment while encouraging creativity and environmental responsibility. Seeing children and staff benefit from resources that have been thoughtfully designed and made especially for them is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
